Military Complex – Via Labicana, Rome

Renovation and adaptive reuse of an existing building within the former military compound, aimed
at creating new housing units for military personnel. The project preserves and enhances the
original architectural structure through careful structural upgrading, architectural refurbishment and
integration of modern building systems, maintaining the historic identity of the complex while adapting it to contemporary residential and functional standards. The board highlights the transformation from the original layout to the new residential configuration within its historic urban context.
