McDrive Development – Intermodal Hub of Orte
(Central Lazio, Italy)

The project involves the demolition of a former residential building and the construction of a new McDrive facility
in a strategic location facing the intermodal hub of central Lazio, in Orte.
The design aims to regenerate an underutilized site, transforming it into a contemporary commercial landmark capable of interacting with the surrounding railway and road infrastructure.
The architectural concept combines warm, natural materials—wood, metal, and brand identity colors—with a recognizable
yet context-sensitive formal language. Functional planning prioritizes smooth drive-through circulation, safe access
points, and high-quality outdoor spaces.
This intervention represents a building replacement strategy focused on urban regeneration and the enhancement of
services within a key regional mobility node.
