Energy and Urban Regeneration of a Residential District
An integrated regeneration project on existing social housing aimed at improving energy performance and enhancing the overall urban image. The intervention included the application of external thermal insulation systems (ETICS) on façades, full replacement of windows with high-performance frames, and installation of high-efficiency generators for heating and domestic
hot water production.
The project went beyond technical energy upgrading, representing a true urban renewal operation:
a severely degraded area has been restored with a renewed architectural identity, improved living quality, and a significant reduction in energy consumption and emissions.
From compromised district to efficient, dignified, and sustainable residential system.
