Energy Retrofit and Architectural Restyling
The project represents a radical architectural and energy transformation.

The building, originallycharacterized by an outdated aesthetic and poor thermal performance, underwent an integrated
renovation aimed at improving both formal quality and energy efficiency.
The ventilated façade is the core element of the intervention: a layered system composed of a
contemporary external cladding, a ventilated cavity, high-performance thermal insulation, and
enhancement of the existing structural system.
This strategy eliminated thermal bridges, significantly reduced heat loss, improved indoor thermal
comfort, and redefined the building with a modern architectural language.
At the same time, the integration of photovoltaic panels within the flat roof and high-efficiency heat
pumps enabled the achievement of a high energy class, with substantial reduction in energy consumption and COn emissions.
This is not merely an aesthetic upgrade, but a complete regeneration of the building envelope, where technology and architecture work together in synergy.
