Adaptive Reuse and Enhancement of a Medieval Tower in the Historic Center of Viterbo

Architectural restoration and adaptive transformation of a historic masonry tower into a vertical
hospitality structure featuring four independent suites and a panoramic roof garden.
The project preserves the original material identity and volumetric character of the building, integrating compact contemporary layouts within a layered historic framework.
The vertical section highlights the functional organization of each level, while the floor plans
illustrate the reinterpretation of space through a modern lens, fully respecting the architectural
memory and the surrounding urban fabric.
