Demolition and Reconstruction – High Performance Energyn Efficient House

The project involved the complete demolition of an obsolete structure with no functional or energy value and its reconstruction according to contemporary standards of sustainability, efficiency and architectural quality. The new building has been conceived as a nearly zeronenergy building (NZEB), designed to drastically reduce energy demand while maximizing indoor comfort.
The building envelope features a highnperformance ventilated façade system, ensuring
excellent thermal performance, moisture control and reduced thermal bridging.
Highnperformance triplenglazed windows further minimize heat loss while enhancing
natural daylight.
The mechanical systems integrate an airntonwater heat pump, rooftop photovoltaic panels, solar thermal collectors for domestic hot water production and solar shading devices to optimize solar gains. The result is a contemporary home defined by clean lines,
advanced technology and outstanding energy performance.
